Happy Bank Holiday Monday Everyone !!!

I would like to share this card with you. This is Mimosa from Bildmalarna and was given to me by a very dear friend !!! You know who you are !!! I have never owned one of these stamps before but it was such a pleasure to colour !!!

Yesterday we headed up to Loch Ness again !!! It was a wonderful day !! The scenery is just breathtaking !!! Unfortunately we did not see Nessie this time either !!! Back to work tomorrow !!! yawn yawn ....

A BABE WITH GOOD FASHION SENSE !!!

Happy Wednesday Everybody !!!

I hope everyone has had a great week since I last blogged. I would like to share this card with you that I made today. I totally fell in love with this image of the babe in high-heels and a hat IT IS GORGEOUS !!!

I have distressed the edges of each layer of the card and the ribbon at the bottom of the card. I have glittered round the edge of the baby image and the hat I had printed off another image, coloured it, then cut it out and 3d it with foam pads. NEARLY THE WEEKEND !!!!

Happy Thursday everyone !!!

I know that everybody has there own little styles and quirks when making their cards ... I have still to find mine. I love to look at other card maker's cards for inspiration and techniques that I have not tried myself. A few particular techniques I have long since wanted to try but have never plucked up the courage to try was aging and distressing. I had the tools just not the confidence to try. So I would like to show you my first attempt at roughing up the edges of your paper/cardstock and distressing or aging the sides of your project.

I actually quite like the way it has turned out for my first attempt.

CUPCAKE FAIRY - VICTORIA CASE

Happy Wednesday !!!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE Wednesdays !!! It is my day off ... I take Lucy to school and then on to Curves for my half hour work-out. Then home for a coffee get some laundry done and then I can start on my cards. I managed to get FOUR done today ... which for me is good going LOL !!!!

Anyhoo I would like to share this one with you. The stamp is one of the first rubber stamps that Victoria Case brought out and is called CUPCAKE FAIRY !!! I happen love her !!! I have actually 3d the cupcake but it doesn't show up very well in this photo.

Heeelllllooo Everyone - YAY its Friday and the start of the weekend !!!

We don't actually have a lot planned for the weekend. Saturday catching up with washing and housework and Sunday meeting with with friends and the kids for lunch and a good old chat!!!

I do apologise but I seem to be having problems with my photos again !!! No matter what I do with this image it comes out this way ... so after some grunting I have just left it !!! So I apologise if you get a sore neck or fall off your chair while trying to look at this card.

PINK GEM DESIGNS

Happy Friday WOO HOOO !!!

I am hoping everybody is well and looking forward to the weekend ... I know I am !!!

This is just a quick post for the moment. I just wanted to share this card this you and then I am off to try and do some colouring !!! This super cute image is a stamp from Pink Gem Designs and is called Little Gem In Love. I have made his little scarf 3d and glittered up all the love hearts.

I hope that everyone has a great weekend and hopefully I will get some crafting done over the weekend ... although I always seem to say that and never do !!! Back to Curves tomorrow morning !!! Hopefully can lose a few more pounds.

MONSTER PRAYERS

Hi Everyone !!!

Well for the last two days I have been excited to receive my mail from the postman !!! Yesterday I received my new Sugar Nellie stamps and today I received my package from Wild Orchid Crafts. It is the first time I have ordered any flowers and lace from Wild Orchid .... I was not disappointed they are STUNNING !!! Very much looking forward to playing with them !!!

This is a card I made the other day. The stamp is called MONSTER PRAYERS and is from Victoria Case.

You may have noticed that the last few cards I have I have ventured to using my sewing machine that Santa brought me OH I am just loving using it !!!

Can you believe it is nearly the weekend already !!! I am not complaining no work and hopefully the chance to craft !!! Although my local craft shop has their 2 day craft extravaganza this weekend and there are loads of demos so will be heading there on Sunday I think ... usually quieter than the Saturday.
