LUCY'S CUPCAKE CARD

Happy Snowy Monday !!!

Just a quick post tonight !! Still snowing here in Paisley and freeeeeeeeezing !!! I know it is the same many places.  Please all stay warm and safe !!

Lucy and I did not go sledging today, we decided to bake instead.  We made some shortbread biscuits.  Lucy then decided she wanted to learn to knit (ahhhhhhh).  Lucy then decided she wanted to make a card.  Last week I had purchased from My Favourite Things they template for a cupcake card.  This is what Lucy came up with and I promised her I would put it on my blog.

Lucy also had a go at distressing.  We could not find our ribbler to make the bottom part of the card so she distressed it instead.  I think she did a great job.  Oh and the back of the card is the same as the front.

Thanks for taking the time to look.  I appreciate all comments left and I know Lucy would too LOL !!! OK off to watch CELEB !!!

SOMETIMES ITS FUN - SOMETIMES IT SNOWWWWWWWW FUN

Happy Snowy Sunday to you !!!

I don't have a card but I thought I would share some photos of the snow that we took this afternoon.  Lucy (my daughter) was on a sleepover last night we had to drive through the snow to collect her at lunch-time today and this is how we spent part of the afternoon in between snow showers.

Hubby has to go to work tomorrow but I have 2 days holiday and the schools are on holiday for 2 days also YIPEE hope to go to the park tomorrow sledging (I'm just a 45 year kid at heart) LOL !!!

A CUSTOM CARD

Happy Friday Everyone !!!

I cannot tell you how cold it has gotten here in Paisley, Scotland brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr !!! FREEZING!! We are supposed to get snow at some point tonight or tomorrow but I am not so sure !! Weather people never to seem to get it right !!

Anyhoo onto my card !! My Mum had asked me to make a card for her for a friend of her.  I don't really do custom cards anymore but I could not say no to my Mum.  I hope she likes this card as I will be delivering it to her tonight LOL just had time to take a few photos. I made another easel card (my second one WOO HOOO).  I am sure the stamp I used is an older Sugar Nellie one designed by Elizabeth Bell. The flowers are Wild Orchid. I think the papers are Papermania.

I hope that everyone had a good weekend !! I am sorry if I did not get the chance to leave a comment on your blog !! I have been trying to catch up but my weekend was so hectic !!! I would advise any HARRY POTTER fan out there to go and see the movie !! IT WAS FANTASTIC all three of us enjoyed the experience of the move.

VIVIENNE - STRUT YOUR STUFF

Happy Saturday Everyone !!!

I am having trouble this weekend finding time !!! Does anybody know where I can get some LOL !!! This is one of those rare weekends for me when I am out Friday night, most of Saturday, Saturday night and all Sunday afternoon LOL !!

HARRY POTTER tonight woooopeeee we are all super exicted to see the move.  Hubby reserved seats for us at Xscape weeks ago !! Really looking forward to it.

Anyhoo I apologise for not getting to my usual blogs this weekend I PROMISE to find time over the weekend at some point !!! I do love looking around blogland !!!

Like to share this card with you that I managed to make today (I actually got a few made today WOOPEEE) !!! This stamp is from Whiff of Joy and is called Ice-Beary Greetings.  I got this stamp a while ago and that is me getting round to inking it up !!! Shame on me

SEASON'S GREETINGS FROM TILDA

Happy Tuesday Morning EVERYONE !!!

Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrr !!! it has turned very very cold now !!! Yesterday here in Scotland everything was WHITE but not with snow with ICE !!! It was freeeeeeeeeeeezing !!!

Just about to head off to work !!!! Need to feed my rubber addiction some-how !!! Anyhoo I realised I hadn't blogged for a few days so I would like to share this card with you I made a few weeks ago.  It is one of the new Magnolia/Tilda stamps from the Christmas release.  It is quite a big stamps and just adorable !!! LOVE THIS STAMP

SWALK - SPECIAL LITTLE PERSON - CRAFTER'S COMPANION

Hi Everyone !!!

One more day to go nearly the weekend YIPEE !!!

I would like to share this baby card with you.  The image is from the SWALK 2 range from Crafter's Companion.  I got this a few weeks ago at the craft show in Glasgow.  I have paper pieced the little baby blanket and also the little charm says (although you cannot tell this from the photo) "IT'S A GIRL".

Well today hubby has very kindly booked out tickets to see Harry Potter next week WOOPEE can hardly wait.  I know it opens on Friday but we will be attending on Saturday evening.  I am sure we will not be disappointed.

Tomorrow sees the release of the new Lili of the Valley collection !!! Oh they are just gorgeous.  I have also been over to Kraftin Kimmie's blog and they have a new release and they are just WOW I mean if you have an addiction FEED IT !!! well if its rubber LOL !!

Happy Wednesday Everyone !!!

I hope everyone is well, I haven't blogged for a few days as I didn't have any cards to show !!!! Managed to get a few cards done today !! In fact don't faint but I am actually going to enter a challenge !! It is not something I do very often, I don't know why !! I have decided to enter this card in the Kraftin Kimmie Challenge since it is new my addiction !!! I just love love love those stamps !!! They are a joy to colour in with !!

Anyhoo the theme this week is DISTRESS !! I have used SUZETTE and coloured her with prismas and copics.  The flowers are Wilde Orchid .  Anyhoo if you get the chance join in with the challenge you could win one of these fantastic stamps !!

KENNY K - ROCK DUDE

Hi Everyone !!!

One more day and its the weekend YIPEE !!!  Some of you will know that I have always ALWAYS wanted to make an easel card and for some reason I could not bring myself to do it as I thought I would make a mess or to be honest the thought just made me so nervous and I don't know why !!

One of my BBF had asked me to make a birthday card for her husband who is totally into heavy rock music.  My friend is not a crafter and I told her to look on Kenny K's website and she intantly chose ROCK DUDE !! I decided to attempt my first easel card using this image and I have also entered it in the Kenny K Challenge Blog this week for anything goes. So I would like to share my card with you !!!

I have to say I was pleased the way it turned out and I gave it to Lesley today and she was so happy and says her hubby will love it !!! PHEW !!!

First of all I need to apologise for the poor quality of my photograph in this post !!! My camera needs new batteries and I forgot to get some grrrrrr !!! I made this card last week and I am just in love with this image from Kraftin Kimmie !!! A dear friend has introduced me to Kraftin Kimmie stamps and I think I am going to be seriously addicted !!

Have you seen some of the new stamps Lili of the Valley are bringing out and Sugar Nellie OMG I think I will just give everyone a HUG this year for Christmas !!!

URBAN BELLES - KANBAN

Happy Monday !!!

This cute image is from the collection Urban Belles by Kanban.  I have a few sets of them and as usual most of them have not been inked up.  I have coloured the image using prismas and have given the little girl two balloons which are really buttons (don't tell her) I have also given her a teddy (he is also a button - don't tell her) !!!
