A FUN IDEA FOR A GIRLIE GET - TOGETHER

Hey Everyone !!!

Hoping you are all well and enjoying the summer !!! Apologies for not being around for a while ... a few reasons .. Lucy had her birthday last week and have been out and about due to school summer holidays I really haven't had the time to do some crafting.  Then I thought today I would get some done and what do you know ... I have no mojo LOL !!!

Anyhoo what I would like to share with you was an idea I had for Lucy that she could share with a few of her close friends as a birthday treat instead of a birthday party (which could cost loads of money that truly speaking I don't have). I shared my idea with her and she loved it.  She invited 5 of her friends over except unfortunately one cancelled at the last minute due to not feeling well.  I think it was a brill idea and can tell you all the girls LOVED IT !!!

Take a very inexpensive Ikea mirror (£1.25)
I showed the girls how to do the technieque that Sheena Douglass uses
to demonstrate her paint fusion .. 4 pots tester paint from B&Q - £0.98 each
I bought some crafty bits and pieces from the pound store .. (butterflies/sticky jewels)
The wooden words were from HobbyCraft store (£0.99)
the little mirrors from The Works (£0.99 per pack)
Oh and some pizza, burgers and juice

The girls got to take their mirror's home with them to put on their own bedroom walls.  The girls had a great time learning new things and hopefully inspiring them in some small way.

Thank you so much for taking the time to look !!!!  Love reading your comments and love having your friendship !!!

TAKE CARE and BIG HUGS

Oh you clever mummy Junie!!!! These are amazing! There's another thing you could do - host girlie birthday parties and make these with the guests! Mums all over the land will be calling on your services, lol!!

When I don't make cards for a while my mojo goes AWOL too. I wonder why that happens?!

Wow, Junie, you were quick! I was just coming by to let you know I've given you an award - but I was too slow (getting old I am..! ;) )! Yep, my mojo's gone, completely, but hopefully not permanently.... Glad to hear yours is coming back! :) Have a great weekend!
