IF ITS HOT ENOUGH - IT WILL SHRINK !!!!

YEY THE WEEKEND HAS FINALLY ARRIVED !!!

Can you HONESTLY believe that Christmas was only a couple of weeks ago !! AHHHHHHHHHHHHH !!!

Anyway I have been racking my old brain trying to think of different ways of using rubber stamps. Over the festive season I have came up with a few ideas for projects, one being the t-shirt and the other was to try and make a pair of earings. It is something I have never EVER tried before and I was apprehensive about trying. Anyway I have decided to show you the end result. LOL this doesn't mean that I will be giving up my precious card making and becoming a jewellery maker, I just wanted to demonstrate that rubber stamping can be taken to another level.

I stamped the Girl's Rule rubber stamp from the Victoria Case range onto white shrink plastic. There is a rough side and a smooth side, I stamped on the rough side with my prismas. I then cut out the image leaving a small area round the image and left a larger area at the top and made a hole with my hole punch. I then shrunk the plastic. The plastic usually shrinks down to 7 times the actual size so even though the hole you made with your hole punch looks too big, it shrinks also hee hee it is totally cool to watch. I then attached the earring part (technical term) that goes through your ear, LOL well obviously you would have to have your ears pierced.
I have made a little monster pair of earrings but I will share them with you tomorrow.
HAPPY WEEKEND !!!!!
Hugs
Junie

These are tooooooooo cute! I think I will try this project with my 8 year old. She is already addicted to crafts, like her MOM. So this can take it to another level. Great project for her next sleep over. Thanks for the idea.
