CUSTOM CANDLE - MARILYN

Hi Everyone

WOO HOOO nearly the weekend !!!!! I am delighted to say that all the candles I did for some of the girls in hubby's work were a great success !!! Phew I always get so nervous especially when some of the girls don't know me.  Anyhoo he came home with another 3 custom orders for cards and candles !!!! I am delighted about that.

I would like to share another custom candle. My dear friend's daughter love's MARILYN and had asked if she could have the card I made last week.  Then she asked for a custom candle to match.  Here is the end result. I hope she likes it. 

The stamp is from The Stampsmith.  Their stamps are just gorgeous !!!! OK off to make dinner. The wind and rain here just now is really quite scarey.  I hope everyone is tucked up safe and warm.

CUSTOM CARD and CANDLE

Happy Wednesday EVERYONE !!!

I have been so busy with custom orders for candles (not complaining) that I have not had time to blog.  I had a to rush and get them all finished up today.  I am also pleased to report that I have started making preparations for the video tutorial !!! woo hooo I am excited about that ....

OK here is one of the custom candles I had from my hubby's work.  The request was for a 40th candle (I then offered to do the card to match).  I was asked if I had anything in connection with BRAS as there is a theme to the party DECORATE A BRA.  The only stamp I had with a bra was this one from PENNY BLACK, which I happen to love anyway.  The photos don't actually do the candle justice.  It is actually a really big candle but unfortunately doesn't show up in the photo.

 The card to match is an 8 inch square easel card.  The cardstock is from Craftwork Cards.

You will have to lean over to the right again (WATCH YOU DON'T FALL OFF YOUR CHAIR) - again for some reason this photo won't go the right way up.  Anyhoo in case you hadn't already guessed it is in the inside of the card.  I have zig-zag stitched outside and inside of the card.

YES YOU CAN CAN CANDLE - KRAFTIN KIMMIE

Hi Everyone

Hoping that everyone is having  a fantastic weekend.  I thought I would join in a challenge this week.  It is not something I do very often but I had promised myself at the beginning of the year that I was going to try and overcome my nervous-ness and try and join in more challenges in 2011 .... so here is my second challenge of January woo hoooo

I thought I would join the Kraftin Kimmie challenge this week.  The challenge is reuse or recycle so I thought decorating a candle is reusing something plain to make it into a cute gift for someone.   

I have managed to get two of the images on this candle ... the candle is larger although it doesn't show up very well on the photo. 

I PROMISE THIS WEEK I WILL GET HUBBY TO VIDEO ME DOING A TUTORIAL OF HOW I CREATE DECORATED CANDLES - I TRULY HOPE YOU CAN UNDERSTAND MY SCOTTISH ACCENT .... LOL I will have to talk posh and proper !!!

I'M BACK !!! WOOO HOOOOOO

Hi Everyone

I am so missed being able to upload on my BLOG especially when I have been in the crafting zone LOL !!!! Well the upshot with our computer it is completely finished.  Hubby took it into his work and managed to rescue everything that was on it.  All our photos and my digi images ... phew !!   Colin the IT guy in my work has very kindly given us an older computer that we can use at the present time !! THANKS COLIN !!!

I have been busy decorating some candles !!! I have had some custom orders and here are two I would like to share with you.  This is an older stamp I have from Rubber Romance called Bunny Girl.  i have quite a collection of those and I had forgotten how much I loved them. 

Just before our computer had crashed I had been asked by quite a number of people how I decorated the candles so I was thinking of doing a tutorial !!! I have never done anything like that before and I wondered how many people would be interested in seeing a tutorial.

I hope everyone is having a fantastic weekend and I cannot tell you how happy I am that I can blog again !!! WOO HOOO

JUST WHEN YOU ARE IN THE CRAFTING ZONE !!!!!

Hi Everyone

Well it has happened to us !!! Our main computer has given up on us and we had the BLUE SCREEN OF DEATH !!!! ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.  Hubby is going to take it into his work and hopefully we will have it up and running at some point during the week. 

Unfortunately I cannot upload any photos at this moment nor get to any of my digi images.  I am linked up to our Netbook so I can still have a look around at all my blogging friend but I am having some trouble leaving comments on some blogs grrrr !!! I apologise if I can't get the chance to leave a comment as I usually do I have tried !!! So please don't think I have disappeared into one of my black holes or anything !!! Its technology that is stopping me !!!

I have been working on some custom candles today.  I will take photos of them and hopefully will get to show them to you later in the week.

Happy Friday EVERYONE !!!

I would like to start by thanking all of my blogging friends for the lovely comments they leave !!! I so appreciate them all and love having you all as my blogging friends !!!

OK onto my card.  This is a stamp from Stampsmith !! I have fallen in love with their stamps and hope to build up my collection over the coming months.  I have decided to enter it in the challenge for this week over at Stampsmith Challenge Blog.  The theme is love and I thought well millions of people still love Marilyn even today. I have also decorated inside the card.

I hope everyone has a fab Friday and yip we have more ice and fog this morning.

SOME BUNNY LOVES YOU !!!

Happy Thursday EVERYONE !!!

Sorry I apologise not being around for a few days.  Believe it or not I have had my first few orders of my custom candles !!! So I am really really excited about that woo hooo hopefully there will be more to come. 

Anyhoo I am still very much into my first love of stamping and cardmaking.  I took a break from the candles yesterday and managed to get some cards done.  

This card is one of my favourites from the new release of LOTV.  I made my own little tag saying "SOME BUNNY LOVES YOU".  Corny I know .... LOL
