BABY CARD ... BABY CANDLE

Happy Friday

WOO HOOO the weekend has arrived ... NO WORK FOR TWO WHOLE DAYS !!! 

Friends of ours who have been desparately trying for a baby for many years finally had a baby boy on 23rd December.  What a joy !!! We visited them last weekend.  Over the Christmas Holidays I made a card and matching candle and I thought I would like to share them with you.  The stamp is from Crafter's Companion SWALK set 2 I think and the little calendar stamp is from Lili of the Valley.

I am delighted to say the parents loved the card and candle.  I was so happy about that !!!

I hope everyone has a fantastic weekend !!!! Not sure what we have planned this weekend .. hopefully not much !!! do I live on the edge or what LOL

CUSTOM CARD

Hi Everyone !!!

Woo hoo nearly the weekend.  I hope everyone is well !!!  I don't do many custom cards any more but a lady in work had asked me a special favour before Christmas and I could not say no.  She wanted a special card for her brother-in-law on his 70th Birthday.  I made a large 8" x 8" easel card. 

 I always get nervous doing custom cards in case the recipient doesn't like it !!

I am very pleased to say that the lady loved it !!! PHEW !!!

SOMEWHERE OVER THE RAINBOW !!!

Hi Everyone

Sorry not been around for a few days ... perhaps you can now tell I am back at work and don't have the same time to craft ... grrrrr !!!!

Anyhoo I am just awaiting delivery of my new stamps from LOTV !!!! Oh I am so excited to receive them.  Talking of new stamps ... Who doesn't love THE WIZARD OF OZ !!! It doesn't matter what age you are, or how many times you have seen it ... we love it !!! It is one of my all time favourite movies !!! I am also a HUGE fan of the great JUDY GARLAND !!! So when I disovered The Stampsmith and discovered they had a sheet of stamps dedicated to one of my favourite movies ... well what can you do !!!! I contacted Estelle at The Stampsmith on New Year's Day I was so excited by my discovery.  I had my stamps in less than a week WOW that is what I call service all the way from NY to Scotland right into my hands.  I am in love with these stamps. 

Here is the first card I have made !!!

ANOTHER LITTLE SOMETHING DIFFERENT

Hi Everyone !!!

Oh last day of our Christmas holidays !!!!! We are going to the cinema and then out for a meal as a special family treat to finish off the holidays.  But before I go I wanted to share another little something different with you.  A mobile/cell phone charm made using a rubber stamp and shrink plastic. 

The stamp is an older stamp that is not on the market any longer and I have coloured the image with prisma pencils.

THE PurrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrFECT CANDLE !!

Hi Everyone  !!!

Two more days and then holidays over and back to work !!!!  What is wrong with me I cannot stop customising candles LOL !!!! It has taken over my life nearly !!! I have load of decorated candles and don't know what to do with them.  I am not sure anybody would buy them ... or would they??? 

I again apologise for the quality of photos ... it is so dark.  I can also assure you that I was not drunk or under the influence of anything while taking the photos but when I look at them they are a bit lop-sided (a bit like me hee hee) !!!

This is the first LARGE candle I have decorated.  I think it would be for a cat lover !!! Anyhoo I think it turned out rather cute .. There are 3 cats on the candle as you can see from the photos.

 The above kitty is my favourite out of the 3 cats !!!

 This one looks a bit cheeky ... don't you think !!!

A HARRY POTTER KIND OF A BIRTHDAY CARD

Hi Everyone !!

My first proper post of 2011 !!! Still some crafting time left before I return to work !!! YIPEE !!

I'd like to share this card with you and I don't really need to tell you who it is LOL !!! This is an 8 inch by 8 inch easel card.  I got the images from Spesch Designer Stamps.  You buy them separately and since I have no clue about computers my dear friend Sharona merged them together for me.  At the time of purchasing these images I did not have Ron but now I do. Sharonaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa I need your help again LOL ta do Ron Ron !!!

 This is the inside of the card but for some reason it shows up the wrong way round !! Sorry about that ..

I apolgise for the quality of the photos !!! I think I need to go to the sun to take some nice bright photos !!!

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi Everyone !!!
HAPPY NEW YEAR TO YOU ALL !!!!! I hope there were no serious hangovers this morning for any of you LOL !!!! I am only jealous !!!!!

Looking around some of my friends blogs I have noticed some have posting some of their favourite cards of the year.  I have decided to reflect on my personal highlights of 2010.

The major event in our household was visiting Florida again during the summer !!! Hubby paying for us to go VIP tickets around Universal so that we did not need to queue to get into the Harry Potter park !!! THAT WAS AMAZING and we loved it !!!

Another highlight of my year was travelling to London for the day (flying on my own) to meet (for the first time EVER) my dear dear friend whom I met through Etsy Sharona who had travelled to London from Israel.  We had theeeeeeeeeeeeee most wonderful day together !!!

The other highlights are the new friends that I have made in BLOGLAND along the way from all over the world !!!! I am truly blessed to have each and every one of you in my life and I treasure our friendship !!!!

OK enough mushy gushy stuff !!!! I would like to share this card with you.  The image is from Lili of the Valley !!! who have gone from strength to strength in 2010 very well deserved.

The next highlight for 2011 is hopefully hubby and daughter will be taking me in March down to the NEC at Birmingham OH OH OH OH I will be in CRAFT HEAVEN !!!!
