LUCY'S ALTERED NOTE BOOKS

Hi Everyone

THE WEEKEND STARTS RIGHT HERE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Apologies for not being around this week, I have trying to catch up with some blogs, I had to stay away from the computer because of my back.  I am back at work now, had to give in to the pain and go to the doctor at the beginning of the week, got really strong pain killers and they made me go a wee bit doolally LOL !!! no more than usual !!!

OK I would like to share two altered notebooks that Lucy has created.  A few weeks ago I received in the mail the most beautiful altered notebook from dear Pops as a thank you gift .... it made me cry LOL !!! anyhoo Lucy completely fell in love with it and while doing some shopping at Asda I had picked up a couple of inexpensive notebooks hoping to have a go myself.  Well Lucy got there before me .... I think she has done a fantastic job.

Oh and I have to say yes ... the photos were taken in my toilet again LOL !!!!

Tomorrow is the large craft show at the SECC in Glasgow woo hoooo can hardly wait !!!

Milly's Winter Window

Happy Saturday dear PEEPS !!!!

Hoping everyone is having a great weekend.  Had a quiet day today, did a little shopping this morning, its hilarious watching me trying to get in and out of the car, I swear I am bent in half LOL !!! Sat in front on tv this afternoon, still proppsed up with cushions with Lucy, did some colouring and watched The Notebook, love that movie.  It was the first time Lucy had seen it ....

This is a card I made a few days ago.  It is Lili of the Valley, Milly's Winter Window.  One of their recent new releases.  Love this stamp.  The sentiment is computer generated by myself.

SWEET CHRISTMAS DREAMS

Hi Everyone !!!

HAPPY FRIDAY !!! Have to say the last few days I have been in agony !! I have hurt my back, not a nice thing,  I am walking sort of bent LOL and you would be in hysterics laughing if you could see me trying to get in and out of bed LOL !!! All I did was turn round too fast getting out of the shower cubicle trying to close the door !!!

Anyhoo I have also had a few days holiday which was just as well I think.  I have managed to get some crafting done.  I propped myself up with some cushions and managed to soldier on LOL !!!!

Would love to share this card with you.  It is one of the new Tilda stamps from the Sweet Christmas Dreams 2011 Collection, Tilda with Snow Heart.  I had to limit myself to one as I have over spent on rubber this month LOL !!!

Also I have been noticing that a few of my dear blogging friends

have been using MUSLIN on their cards, which I think is STUNNING

unfortunately Wild Orchid Crafts do not have it for sale at the moment ..

I came up with my own version.  I purchased a bandage from my local

supermarket and took some distress ink to it.

I need to pop off for the moment, my parents are due to arrive at any minute !!! and it may take me a few moments to hobble down stairs LOL !!

Happy half way through the week !!!

Hoping everyone is well !!! Had quite a good crafting day today.  Spent some time colouring in the morning .. then had a coffee with my friend who lives over the road, poor thing has had two deaths in the last 2 weeks, so it was nice to have a catch up and a good natter over a coffee and cake.  Managed to get a few cards made this afternoon.

This card I made last week and its Nevaeh from Saturated Canary.

Another CHRISTMAS Card !!!!

Hi Everyone !!!

Thank you so much for your kind comments recently, I really really appreciate them.   I had a few questions about the candy cane being real.  Unfortunately it is not real, had it been real there is a chance it would not have made it onto the card LOL !!! I purchased the candy cane from The Ribbon Girl in the Christmas section of the website.  You can purchase a pack of 3.

I am trying to make as many cards as I can at the moment as on 9th November I have been asked round to the local cricket club (no I dont play) on a Wednesday afternoon they have a wee club for the local old ladies, its a chance for them to have a tea/coffee and a good old gossip. I know alot of them have grand-daughters so I have been asked to make as many girlie cards as I can !!

This card was one I made last week.  I think it is an Elizabeth Bell stamp but to be honest I am not sure.  The flowers and leaves are from Wild Orchid Crafts and the wooden snow flakes are from Bunny Zoe.

LET IT SNOW ... LET IT SNOW ... LET IS KNOW

Happy Friday EVENING !!!!!!

Just a quick post tonight !!! Oh my the temperature has dropped this last few days.  But we had beautiful blue sky today with not alot of cloud and not rain or hail stones LOL !!!!

This is a card I made the other day using a small Penny Black - Mimi from last year's Christmas selection or was it even the year before .... anyhoo I found them and forgot I had them LOL shame on me !!! I bought the candy cane from the Ribbon Girl and me being me did not realise the size of them when I bought them LOL they just about take up a whole card. Managed to get it stuck down with some Pinflair glue

Sorry this is just a quick post off to watch CAKE BOSS !!! such a fun show !!!

Good Morning

About 10 minutes ago started getting ready for work !!! Shouting at Lucy (not in a bad way) making sure she was getting ready for school when there was an almight clatter against the window !! OMG I thought ... what has happened ... great bloody hail stones ... I ask you !!! the heavens had opened and down they came !!! good start to a Thursday morning

Anyhoo onto my card for the day.  This image is from Saturated Canary called Nevaeh !! Her images are amazing ... even started myself a wish list LOL !!!!



OK need to get going !!! Another boring day at the office !! grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr need to feed my rubber habit LOL !!!

SILENT NIGHT ... HOLY NIGHT ....

Hi Everyone

Middle of yet another week.  The weather is going crazy these days !!!! seriously crazy.  Has rained all day long, and very very windy ... what happens at 5.00pm .. the sun comes out and there is loads of blue sky !!!!

Today was a good crafting day.  I got quite a few cards all, all of them I was pleased with.  The first card I want to share is Christmas Gilly from Prairie Fairy.  Love these images, I only have a couple of them.

Have discovered will need to do a bit of shopping tonight, so this is only a quick post.  Will catch up with some blogs later !!!!

HAVE YOURSELF A MERRY LITTLE CHRISTMAS

Morning Everyone !!!!

I didn't realise it had been just over a week since I had blogged !!!! Things have been hectic ..

Hoping all is well with everyone !!! I am enjoying having my new cricut but unfortunately I am already bored with the two cartridges that came with the machine.  I am awaiting delivery of one, wish it would hurry up LOL !!!

Today before I leave for work would like to share this card with you.  It is one of 6 I made a few weeks ago and all 6 are now on their way to Orlando, Florida.  A dear friend in Florida who I got to know through Etsy a few years ago asked me to make him his Christmas cards this year.  How could I say no ... in turn instead of paying me I asked him to do a trade for my favourite steak sauce !!!!

This image is from Karen's Doodles, I think it is an older one from last year.  Oh and yes the picture was taken on my toilet seat again, I think it was sunny that day LOL !!!
