I DO BELIEVE MY LITTLE GIRL IS GROWING UP !!!!

Hi Everyone !!!

Apologies for not being around ... there was such a build up before the dance display.  I ended up with some candle orders and then Primary 7 Prom the last few weeks have been so so busy I have not had time to blog or comment on any blogs.  I am sorry but hope to catch up properly in the next few days.

I would like to share some photos of Lucy's in her costumes.  I cannot believe that she is nearly turning 12.  She had her Primary 7 Prom on Monday night and looked quite the young lady.  Our daughter has grown up in front of our very eyes.  If you click on the photos you will get a closer look at the costumes.

Now I'm Off to the PROM !!

Lucy started dancing when she was 3 and now she is nearly 12.  Of all those yearly dance displays I have never cried .. not once.  But when I saw Lucy this year coming out of the wings in her ballet tutu I could not help myself and the tears flowed much to Tommy's amusement.  She looked so beautiful and graceful !!!

ANOTHER BUGABOO CREATION

Hi Everyone !!!

Another weekend just about over !!! I am now nearly at the end of my sewing FINALLY for the dancing display costumes.  A few more little bits and that should be me for this year and hopefully I can get back to some crafting !!!!

I would like to share this card I made a few weeks ago ... it is a Bugaboo image.  I think these images are so funny.

What I really want to know is ... WHERE IS OUR SUMMER ???? The weather is pants for this time of year ... more so than normal .... grrrrrr I am not amused !!!

Anyhoo away to watch a movie .... done my ironing for the week  .... so time to sit down now.

CUSTOM ORDER - KRAFTIM KIMMIE CANDLE

Hi Everyone !!!

Thank you so much for leaving Lucy such lovely comments ... she was sooo happy !!!! She told me pass on her thanks.  She has just finished her two inductions days at high school as part of the transition scheme and she loved it.  She was so enthusiastic about it when she came home.  I am no longer worried about her moving on after the summer holidays.

I would like to share a custom candle I made the other day.  The theme was 50s and the era of the juke box.  Well all I could think about was Kraftin Kimmie stamps !!!! I had wanted some of those stamps for quite a while now so ..... I had to buy some more LOL !!! The candle is a larger candle than I usually use and is from Ikea.  There are two images of the juke box and two images of Fanny on the candle.

CREATING A SCENE

Hi Everyone !!!!

Lucy had the most fantastic time on her school trip .. she was glad to be home and BOY were we glad to have her home. 

I would like to share with you (as I promised I would) these two works of art that Lucy created on Sunday.  On Saturday we had travelled through to Edinburgh to the International ARt Stamp and Papercraft Fair.  Lucy had stood and watched a demonstration at the Lavinia Stamps stall while I was walking round looking at other stuff but I had already decided to purchase some of their stamps.  I also purchased my first speedball brayer. 

On Sunday afternoon she asked if I would let her use the new brayer (unused by me of course).  I decided to let her have a free range of my craft stuff to see what she came up with on the condition that she didn't break anything.   I was so good I didn't even enter her bedroom while she was creating I just let her get on with it. 

LOOK AT THE RESULT !!! I was speachless I thought she did brilliant and her two creations were beautiful !!!! I promised her I would put them on my blog.

I had been going to upload a candle I had made but I thought Lucy deserved the limelight for her creations just one for her !!!!!

STELLA - FROM BUGABOO

Happy Thursday everyone !!!

I would firstly like to thank my dear blogging friends for your words of support regarding what it feels like when the kids go away for the first time !!!! I truly appreciate them ... ONE MORE SLEEP and Lucy will be home !!! can hardly wait LOL

And I got the most wonderful phone call last week that I forgot to share with you I got an order from a local football team (a big one) for 20 candles with the team logo on it for their table decoration at a function they are having tomorrow. All candles are done and packaged and will be delivered tomorrow !!!! how cool is that I was so chuffed ...  Also got a few more candle orders trickling in ... so pleased about that also hadn't made any in a while.

Onto my card for today.  It is another Bugaboo image and this one is Stella.  Don't you just love her !!!

Hubby and I are so looking forward to tomorrow night at 5.15pm !!!! wooopeeeeee !!!

GUS - BUGABOO STAMPS

Hi Everyone

Haven't blogged in a while ... apologies but I have been busy sewing sequins as time is getting on and getting nearer to the dance display.  Lucy is away this week (she has never been away from us before) on her school trip. OH the house is so quiet and Tommy and I are both feeling a bit lost LOL !!!!

Took a break from sewing today and purchased my first Bugaboo digital stamps.  This one is GUS.  I managed to make three cards today, which is quite good going for me.  It seems like such a long time since I made a card it was good making some today.

Can hardly wait until Friday until Lucy comes home LOL two more sleeps ..... !!!
