LAUREL & HARDY TAG

Happy Friday Evening EVERYONE !!!

Thank you for taking the time to visit !!! I am late with this little post tonight ... have just arrived back into the house after a 2 hour stint bag packing at the local supermarket to help school funds !!! Oh how my old back aches LOL !!! Anyhoo all for a good cause.

Onto my latest creation.  This tag started off life as an ATC and somehow it grew into a TAG ... I am not sure how it came about really LOL.

The Laurel & Hardy stamp is from STAMPSMITH. The TAG is from Ranger and the ribbon is from Ribbon Girl. The sentiment is computer generated by myself using adler font and the papers are from my stash. !!!

COLLAGE CANVAS

Hi Everyone

Well as you all know I have been going through a phase just now (no not that kind of phase LOL) !!! of moving away from cuteness and discovering my other alternative side as I call it.

I would like to show you my FIRST EVER attempt at a collage on canvas.  I am so pleased with the result, I cannot tell you !!!

To let you understand it is for a very special little boy called Daniel who is the son of a very very dear friend of mine. Life is not easy for her and her husband. Daniel has lots of health issues, one of the main issues is he suffers from aspergers syndrome which is on the autistic spectrum.  So basically life is a daily battle for them all. 

Anyhoo Daniel has a birthday coming up and he loves nothing better than strumming away on one of his dad's guitars and I know he is getting a guitar for his birthday which is next week.  Now he loves ACDC, Metallica, guitars and Super Mario .. those are his obssessions at the moment.  So here if my first cavas collage !!!

Showed it to my friend today as she is going to get a frame for it.  It is actually bigger than it looks in the photo.  She loved it !!!!

TAGS - ATC - COLLAGE - RUFFLES - SEQUINS AND CANCAN

Hi Everyone !!!

Apologies for not being around !!! It is the time of year for me again when I have to start sewing ... whether I want to or not LOL !!! Lucy's dancing display is coming up at the end of June.  We have been notified earlier than usual what the costumes are so I have been able to make a start early this year.  We have had to make our own cancan outfit.  Managed to get a few bits together, thanks to Ebay and YouTube. 

I would like to share a tag and ATC that I made last week when I took a break from my sewing.  Today I also took a break and made a canvas collage which I am delighted with, especially since it will be a pressie.  I will share it with you later.

Just about to get Lucy organised for today's dance class and I am off to Curves to try and work off the chocolate bar I had with my coffee this morning LOL oh and the choc chip muffin I had after my sandwich at lunch time !!!! shame on me BUT BOY THEY WERE GOOD !!!!

DREAM THE DAY AWAY - TAG

Yo Peeps !!!!!

How are we all today !!!! I am hoping everyone is well !!! Has been a bit rainy on and off here, windy and sunny too, all in the space of 5 minutes.  That's Scottish weather for you. 

I am so loving making tags right now !!! Not sure I manage to pull it off or not when I see some people's work ... never mind keep practising.

The tag is a distressed with inks, the paper is from Crafty Individuals as is the image.  I have mounted the image onto some Stampbord.  "DREAM THE DAY AWAY" is computer generated by meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.

Oh and the photograph was taken on top of the toilet seat.  It is so bright in that room especially when the sun is out !!!! its ok the lid was down .....

OK off to the gym !!!! I pretend I am fit LOL !!!

Happy Saturday dear PEEPS !!!

I am hoping everyone is having a fantastic Saturday !!!! I hope the sun is shining wherever you are ... I would like to tell you that it is sunny here in Scotland .... alas then I would not be telling the truth LOL !!!!  It is very very humid but raining. BLAH !!!!

Onto a card for today.  One of my favourite stamps EVER !!!! the wonderful and truly STUNNING Marylin.  This stamp I have used previously it is from The Stampsmith.  I wish I had more of their stamps I just love them so much !!!!

I am off to start getting dinner organised !!! I hope you all have a fantastic Saturday evening and I hope the sun is shining on you where ever you are !!!!

PRECIOUS MOMENTS TAG

Happy Thursday ... NEARLY THE WEEKEND !!!

Well it did rain !!!! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH all day !!! no more blue sky, no more sun .... had to buy a new pair of shoes at lunch time my other shoes were leaking LOL !!!!!

Anyhoo onto a tag I made yesterday.  The tag itself I ran through an embossing folder, I think it is a Little Claire one.  The sentiment is computer generated by me.  The back gingham paper is from my stash as is the flower.  The image is from Crafty Individuals and the green sticky back canvas is from Ranger which I believe I got from Happy Daze.

Hi Everyone !!!

Still having glorious weather .. supposed to rain tomorrow !!!!

Anyhoo I thought I would step outside my comfort zone again and enter a challenge.  I thought I would enter the challenger over at Gingersnap Creations where the theme is Cowboys and Cowgirls.  Discovered this website a few weeks ago when my mixed media phase took over me ... I love the DT's creations WOW and YEEEHAWWWW !!!!
I have made a tag which I have distressed with TH Distress Inks.  I have used an image of Doris Day as Calamity Jane which I have cut and stuck to the tag using Claudine Hellmuth Gel Medium.  I made the reward tag and the sentiment is computer generated by myself.
