HIPPIE CHICK GIFT SET

Hi Everyone !!

I would like to thank everyone who commented on the Elvis candle I made, I truly cannot tell you how much I appreciated your comments.

I have gone from having not one ounce of mojo ... now I cannot stop myself LOL !!! I would like to share a gift set I have made.  I haven't made it for anybody and I am not sure if anybody would buy this sort of thing, it just sort of popped into my head and now I have a whole production line going on with candles LOL I cannot stop !!

I made my first little set using an older Anya stamp that I have.  Lucy had bought a paper pad the other day from Hobby Craft called Hippie Chick and this has inspired me for this first collection.  After some bribery she let me have two sheets of paper from her pad WHICH I BOUGHT !!!!

The earrings have been made with shrink plastic.

 There are 3 Anya's on the candle you can see in the reflection.

The candle is still to be wrapped and I still need to make a little Hippie Chick Anya tag. I am quite pleased with the result.

Hi Everyone

I hope that all everyone had a wonderful CHRISTMAS !!! We had a lovely day !! Nice pressies for everyone and my parents made it over for Christmas dinner complete with Mum and her plaster. Two more weeks and hopefully it will be removed.

Anyhoo I would like to share something completely different with you. Something I have always always wanted to do was stamp onto a candle ... but me being me ... I have always been too nervous about trying something new !!! But I took a HUGE LEAP for me and this is the result. 

I would be delighted to get some feedback on this???

I must apologise for not being around lately !!! Things have just been really really hectic and at times hard !!! As some of you know my Mum fell and broke her ankle and then her washing machine broke down and since then it has been one thing after another and I haven't even made a Christmas card this year ... shop bought ... shame on me.

LUCY'S CUPCAKE CARD

Happy Snowy Monday !!!

Just a quick post tonight !! Still snowing here in Paisley and freeeeeeeeezing !!! I know it is the same many places.  Please all stay warm and safe !!

Lucy and I did not go sledging today, we decided to bake instead.  We made some shortbread biscuits.  Lucy then decided she wanted to learn to knit (ahhhhhhh).  Lucy then decided she wanted to make a card.  Last week I had purchased from My Favourite Things they template for a cupcake card.  This is what Lucy came up with and I promised her I would put it on my blog.

Lucy also had a go at distressing.  We could not find our ribbler to make the bottom part of the card so she distressed it instead.  I think she did a great job.  Oh and the back of the card is the same as the front.

Thanks for taking the time to look.  I appreciate all comments left and I know Lucy would too LOL !!! OK off to watch CELEB !!!

SOMETIMES ITS FUN - SOMETIMES IT SNOWWWWWWWW FUN

Happy Snowy Sunday to you !!!

I don't have a card but I thought I would share some photos of the snow that we took this afternoon.  Lucy (my daughter) was on a sleepover last night we had to drive through the snow to collect her at lunch-time today and this is how we spent part of the afternoon in between snow showers.

A CUSTOM CARD

Happy Friday Everyone !!!

I cannot tell you how cold it has gotten here in Paisley, Scotland brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr !!! FREEZING!! We are supposed to get snow at some point tonight or tomorrow but I am not so sure !! Weather people never to seem to get it right !!

Anyhoo onto my card !! My Mum had asked me to make a card for her for a friend of her.  I don't really do custom cards anymore but I could not say no to my Mum.  I hope she likes this card as I will be delivering it to her tonight LOL just had time to take a few photos. I made another easel card (my second one WOO HOOO).  I am sure the stamp I used is an older Sugar Nellie one designed by Elizabeth Bell. The flowers are Wild Orchid. I think the papers are Papermania.

Happy Saturday Everyone !!!

I am having trouble this weekend finding time !!! Does anybody know where I can get some LOL !!! This is one of those rare weekends for me when I am out Friday night, most of Saturday, Saturday night and all Sunday afternoon LOL !!

HARRY POTTER tonight woooopeeee we are all super exicted to see the move.  Hubby reserved seats for us at Xscape weeks ago !! Really looking forward to it.

SEASON'S GREETINGS FROM TILDA

Happy Tuesday Morning EVERYONE !!!

Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrr !!! it has turned very very cold now !!! Yesterday here in Scotland everything was WHITE but not with snow with ICE !!! It was freeeeeeeeeeeezing !!!

Just about to head off to work !!!! Need to feed my rubber addiction some-how !!! SWALK - SPECIAL LITTLE PERSON - CRAFTER'S COMPANION

Hi Everyone !!!

One more day to go nearly the weekend YIPEE !!!

I would like to share this baby card with you.  The image is from the SWALK 2 range from Crafter's Companion.  I got this a few weeks ago at the craft show in Glasgow.  I have paper pieced the little baby blanket and also the little charm says (although you cannot tell this from the photo) "IT'S A GIRL".

Well today hubby has very kindly booked out tickets to see Harry Potter next week WOOPEE can hardly wait.  I know it opens on Friday but we will be attending on Saturday evening.  I am sure we will not be disappointed.

Tomorrow sees the release of the new Lili of the Valley collection !!! Oh they are just gorgeous.  I have also been over to Kraftin Kimmie's blog and they have a new release and they are just WOW I mean if you have an addiction FEED IT !!! well if its rubber LOL !!

I hope everyone is well, I haven't blogged for a few days as I didn't have any cards to show !!!! Managed to get a few cards done today !! In fact don't faint but I am actually going to enter a challenge !! It is not something I do very often, I don't know why !! KENNY K - ROCK DUDE

Hi Everyone !!!

One more day and its the weekend YIPEE !!!  Some of you will know that I have always ALWAYS wanted to make an easel card and for some reason I could not bring myself to do it as I thought I would make a mess or to be honest the thought just made me so nervous and I don't know why !!

One of my BBF had asked me to make a birthday card for her husband who is totally into heavy rock music.  My friend is not a crafter and I told her to look on Kenny K's website and she intantly chose ROCK DUDE !! I decided to attempt my first easel card using this image and I have also entered it in the Kenny K Challenge Blog this week for anything goes. So I would like to share my card with you !!!

I have to say I was pleased the way it turned out and I gave it to Lesley today and she was so happy and says her hubby will love it !!! PHEW !!!

Happy Halloween ...

Here is a card, but not a halloween one LOL !!! I did not make any this year. This image is from hAnglar & sTanglar, and who doesn't love them. 

I hope everyone is having a great weekend.  Just got back from the craft show in Glasgow.  Had a great time !!! Managed to spend some money although believe it or not ... I didn't spend that much .. SERIOUSLY I DIDN'T !! I bought some doillies, ribbon, Crafter's Companion S.W.A.L.K. stamps, glue and the reason I didn't spend too much was because I have managed to perusade hubby and daughter to take me to NEC in Birmingham next year !!! There I will go ccccccrrrrrraaaaaaaazzzzzzeeeeeeeeeeeeee !!! woo hooo

STAR TILDA - MY FIRST CHRISTMAS CARD wooo hooooo

YIPEE its Friday !!!! the beginning of the weekend and no work for TWO WHOLE DAYS !!!!

I hope that everybody is well !!! We are having just the most rubbish weather here in Scotland YUK !!!

Anyhoo onto my card for today.  This is one of the new Magnolia's, STAR TILDA !! I was just in love with this when I saw it.  Unfortunately the photo is not brilliant but round the top left hand side of the card is wire wording that says "Christmas" .. it doesn't show up very well in the photo which is a pity.

I am delighted to tell you that Lucy and I thoroughly enjoyed John Barrowman in concert last night HE WAS FAB !!! He was brill and would not hesitate to go and see him again !!

YIPEE YIPEE my Postie came today bearing parcels for me !!! I can make cards again LOL !!! I have cardstock and I have flowers !!! I also have a new addiction !!! I am in love with Kraftin Kimmie stamps.  A very special friend gave me a few images to try and I cannot tell you how much I have LOVED colouring them in !!! I know I will need more to join my new Magnolia's !!!  This particular image is Monique AHH she was a joy to colour !!!

AND tonight Lucy (my daughter) and I going to Glasgow to see John Barrowman in concert !! aka Captain Jack from Torchwood/Dr Who !! We are having ourselves a wee girlie night out !! I hope he doesn't tell any rude jokes or else I will have to cover Lucy's ears LOL !!!

I could not believe my bad luck the other day.  I have loads of images coloured and waiting to be made into cards when I discovered I had no cardstock left LOL can you believe that !!! I mean what kind of crafter am I that runs out of cardstock !!! Anyhoo hopefully tomorrow I will have delivery of my cards and also another delivery from Wild Orchid Crafts with my flowers too YIPEE !!! Can you tell it is the end of the month pay day LOL !!!

STAMP CLEAR OUT

Hi Everyone !!

Sorry I don't have a card to share with you today but my house has been in serious need to a going over with the hoover and dusting.  I have spent the whole of the weekend cleaning and cleaning and cleaning.  My poor hands LOL !!!

Anyhoo I have also decided to clear out some of my stamps that I don't use any more.  So grab yourself a bargain.  Each stamp is £2.50 and has been inked up no more than a couple of times. Each stamp is in PERFECT condition and all are already mounted on cling cushion. Most of the stamps are big stamps so you really are getting a bargain. Oh P&P is free !!

Happy Wednesday !!!

FREEZING here this morning in Scotland !! Hubby had to scrape ice of the car LOL !!! so did some of our neighbours !!! Saying that it turned out to be a beautiful day and the sun has been out all day ... just a bit cold brrrrrr !!!!

TILDA IN THE KITCHEN

Happy Tuesday !!!

Just about to head out for work grrrrrrrrrrrr !!! would much rather stay in and craft that is the kind of mood I am in LOL !!!! It looks cold and wintery out there ... it is dry at any rate !!

Anyhoo on to my card for today.  This is a card I made a few weeks back using a couple of Magnolia images that a very very dear friend had given me.  I have coloured them, cut them out and then 3d them onto the card, although I know you cannot tell that by the photo LOL !!!
