Oh WOW Kate looked soooooooooooooooooooo beautiful in her STUNNING dress and William so handsome in his uniform !!!!!! I loved watching it ... and now it is all over .... WOO HOOO 2 kisses on the balcony !!!!

Would like to share with you today my FIRST EVER Artist Trading Card.  It is a humorous one.  I have distressed the background and 3d the little oldy lady in her car.   I have coloured her with prisma colour pencils and treble embossed her with holographic embossing powder.  Unfortunately when stamping the sentiment because I did it on glossy card it slipped a bit, so it looks like a shadow ... oops !!!

Enjoy the rest of the holiday weekend !!! Weather still FANTASTIC here in Scotland ... a bit colder today but all the better for hanging out my washing LOL !!!

STAMPOTIQUE ORIGINALS - TAG

Good Morning .... WHAT A TRULY BEAUTIFUL MORNING ... the birds are singing !!!!

I won't sing ... best for the human population I don't LOL !!!!

Anyhoo before I pop off to work (yuk) I wanted to share another tag I made yesterday. 

I used Tim Holtz tissue tape and then distressed it and stamped a sentiment onto it also. The girl stamp is from Stampotique Originals (which is my favourite at the moment) and the crown is grungeboard from TH which my dear dear friend Jona gave me as part of my birthday pressie.  I layered distress ink onto the crown and then trebble embossed it with holographic embossing powder so that it sparkles !!!

A HUMOROUS TAG !!!!

Happy WEDNESDAY Everyone !!!!

I cannot believe what glorious weather we are having just now here in Scotland ... LONG MAY IT LAST !!!!

Again, something completely different for me to share with you ... A TAG !!! I decided to make it a humorous tag although I didn't start out that way !!!!

Firstly I rubbed some distress inks into my Creative Expressions wall embossing folder and ran it through my cuttle bug, loved the effect !!! I ended up making quite a few different ones.  I then used some older stamps I found hiding from me and I think from memory they are from Gina K Designs.   The little guy is coloured with prisma pencils. I 3d the little guy with pin flair glue.

I AM IN ANOTHER PHASE !!!!!

Happy Thursday !!!

Are we just having the most wonderful weather just now !!!! WOOO HOOO I am loving it !!! My flu/cold is FINALLY away (cannot tell you how glad I am about that).  It is the final working day of the week before we have the first of two holidays weekends !!!! For the next two weeks I only have to work a TWO day week !!!!! Certainly not complaining about that ....... AND I am in another phase I seem to be going through these days !!!!

I am so loving I cannot tell you how much all this mixed media/altering and collage that seems to be around just now.   I just wish I could achieve the results I see some very talented people achieving .... perhaps if I keep practising ..... I just find it so inspiriting at the moment.

Anyhoo here is my first attempt at my ALTERNATIVE card making as I call it ... away from cuties at the moment.   I am actually really really pleased with the result. 

OK I just realised the time and I need to get dressed and go to work !!!! BAH HUMBUG !!!

COLD COLD GO AWAY - LETS VISIT A WIND FARM

Hi Everyone

AGAIN a million apologies for not being around again lately !!! Just after I had my last bout of the flu virus and thought I was getting on my feet again .... 2 days after that I came down with another load of it grrrrrrrrrrrrrr .... and AHHHHH !!!! I still have the cold .... it just won't go away that is a month now all except for 2 days.  Lucy has now had it for just over a week, poor thing and has been left with a yucky cough !!!!

Last weekend when the weather was beautiful here in Scotland all I did was stay in bed coz I felt so bad !!!! a week later I feel much better but you can still hear the cold in my voice.  Oh and last weekend I also lost my voice which made some people in the house happy LOL !!!!

Lucy is coming to the end of her school spring break and after two weeks returns to school on Tuesday YIPEE only to be off again the following two Fridays and Mondays.  I don't remember getting that many holidays when I was at school.

Anyhoo enough of my ramblings.  We had heard of a wind farm locally that we didn't even know existed (how sad is that ... its free and right on our door step) and decided yesterday to take a little afternoon trip there.  WE HAD SUCH FUN !! and you can walk to all 140 of them or take the little bus LOL !!! we just walked for about an hour and that was enough.



 If you look closely at the photo below .. at the bottom of the windmill those little dots to the right are people !!!

 We will definitely go back again !!!! It was an amazing sight !!!
