Happy Weend Everyone !!!

I hope everyone is having a good weekend. I would like to share 4 cards with you that were custom orders from a neighbour of mine. The cards for Craig and Michael who are a couple .. well I like these cards. I find the image really makes me smile.



The card below is for a sister-in-law who loves to shop. I truly hope she likes her card.

This card below I was asked to make a card with a phone on it. Well I didn't have any phones ... so I asked the VERY TALTEND Victoria Case if she could oblige me by drawing me a candle-stick phone. I think the end result was just perfect. Thank you VICTORIA !!!!

VICTORIA CASE - SPRING BLOOMS

Hi Everone !!

Hope everying is having a FANTASTIC weeked !! Here in Scotland I cannot tell you how gorgeous the weather was today ... it was truly beautiful. We had a family outing to Culzean Castle !!! I will share some photos with you in the coming days.

Anyway I want to share this card with you. It is a digi image from the Victoria Case range, and is called SPRING BLOOMS. It is actually a rather large card and measures 8.5 inches square. I printed the image off twice and made the flower, the hat, one glove and part of the apron 3D. I coloured with copics and added some glitter glue to the green part of hat and the edge of the glove.

GOOD FRIDAY 2009 - LOOKING FOR NESSIE

Hi Everyone !!

Hope you are all enjoying the Easter Weekend. Sorry no cards but I thought I would share with you a trip that we took yesterday which was Good Friday.

Even though we stay in Scotland we stay about a 3 hour drive from the start of the Highlands. We decided we would take a trip there yesterday as it has been such a long time since either my husband or I had been there. Our 9 year old daughter hasn't been at all and it is such a vast area. We decided to head for none other than Loch Ness to see if we could find NESSIE.

The above photo is taken from the car and show that there is still some snow on the Scottish mountains. This is a view of Ben Nevis which is the highest mountain in the UK.

This above photo is taken from the top of the loch and looks down to the very beginning of Loch Ness itself. The little town at the beginning of Loch Ness called Fort Augustus. Such a pretty place.

The above photo is taken from the very edge of Loch Ness. It was the only place we could get stopping at so that we could take some photos. It was rather late in the day when we got there, it was such a long drive. We will certainly take another trip there, there was such much we didn't get to see.

This is another view of Ben Nevis. I will share more of the trip with you in the coming days.

THREE CARDS TO SHARE

Hi Everyone !!!

This card my parents asked me to make for a friend of theirs who will be 79 at the end of the week. He LOVED DIY, hope he likes the card. My dad asked me specifically to put those words. The card was made from a decoupage kit from the Clutter Collection by Michelle Marsden. I had to cut out every single piece and then build up the card. I really like the card myself. This card I made using one of Victoria Case's digital images range. Over at www.victoriacaseartdesigns.com. I just ADORE her art work. I have made parts of the card 3d and coloured with copics.

I just LOVE this digital image below. It is also from the Victoria Case range. I have 3d the little pig and the cupcakes on the tree. I have also glazed them which is a new thing for me. I coloured the image with copics and added a piece of ribbon.
